In the Mir you will get acquainted with a pearl of the Belarusian architecture - the Mir castle - the first monument of the national culture which have been switched in the List of the world heritage of UNESCO. Monumental and unassailable, the castle remained the symbol of strength and power over several centuries. The well-known the Nesvizh castle is a former residence of a powerful magnate family of Belarus Radzivill's. The architectural legacy of the 16th century has been preserved to our time.

The national park "Belovezhskaya Pushcha" is located in a southwest of Belarus, in 340 kilometers from Minsk. It has been based in 1991 on the basis of historically developed protected territory. Belovezhskaya Pushcha is a unique large forest in the Europe where last rests were kept is no time extensive flat virgin woods with presence of relic plants and animals, first of all the bison. The first mention about Belovezhskaya more in manuscripts is dated 983. 

Berezinsky nature reserve was founded on January 30, 1925. The richness of the virgin flora is due to the long-term protection. There are about 800 species of rare plants, 216 species of moss, 198 species of lichen, 463 species of fungi in the reserve. It is an ideal place for many rare animals. Among vertebrates thare are 52 species of mammals, 230 species of birds, 5 species of reptiles and 9 species of amphibia. There are 34 spiecies of fish in rivers and lakes. There lives the brown bear, the lynx, the wolf, the otter, the beaver, the elk in the reserve. Since 1974 a herd of aurochs have lived there.
